Mr. Evans began his career at Deere & Company (John Deere) in finance, where he later became the director of finance, and the vice president and the general manager of John Deere Information Systems. After retirement from Deere, he formed Evanwood Corporation, which engaged in consulting in international corporate finance. He also served as vice president and chief financial officer for two Internet Service Providers. During his career, he served on the board of directors of three public corporations: Pearl Mutual Funds, Data Transmission Network Corporation and John Deere Receivables Inc. In 2015, he became the founder and chief executive officer of the Center for Global Reasoning.
Mr. Evans served on several non-profit boards, including the Quad Cities World Affairs Council and later the Colorado Foothills World Affairs Council. He was a founding board member of World Denver. Mr. Evans has also served on the national board of the World Federalist Association as well as the treasurer of the Campaign for UN Reform.
Throughout his career, Mr. Evans has been celebrated for his impressive achievements. He has accepted a number of awards and accolades for his contributions to his field. Likewise, Mr. Evans has been featured in numerous publications, including multiple editions of Who's Who in Finance and Business, Who's Who in Finance and Industry, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the Midwest, Who's Who int the West, and Who's Who int the World.
