Prior to embarking on his professional path, Dr. Roberts pursued a formal education, earning a Doctor of Theology in Greek, Hebrew, Latin, and Aramaic languages. He also obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in the Old and New Testament from the Christian Bible College in Rocky Mount, NC in 1991. Furthermore, Dr. Roberts was inspired to devote himself to the field of religious services by other key figures such as David Nunn, Bud Chambers, Billy Joe Fain, and Al Adenfield.
A prolific writer, Dr. Roberts has authored numerous books in relation to his areas of expertise. Some of the published titles to his credit include "The Gift of Tongues Examined," "Just When Did Spiritual Gifts Cease?," and "A Walk Through Tears" in 2003 and "Angelic Mysteries" in 2005. Additionally, Dr. Roberts has hosted televised sermons on Daystar Television, an American evangelical Christian-based religious broadcast network that is owned by the Word of God Fellowship.
