Ms. Nancy Huddleston Packer has held the title of professor emerita at Stanford University in California since 1993.

At the inception of her career, she gained valuable experience as a lecturer at Birmingham-Southern College between 1947 and 1948. Throughout her career, she authored a number of works in addition to her career in education, including short collections titled "Small Moments," "The Women Who Walk," "Jealous-Hearted Me," "In My Father's House" and "Funny Little Pictures."
An expert in her field, Ms. Packer holds a Bachelor of Arts from Birmingham-Southern College and a Master of Arts from the University of Chicago. In light of her professional excellence, she earned the O'Henry Prize from Doubleday & Company, an Outstanding Alumna Award from Birmingham-Southern College, and an Award for Fiction from the National Endowment for the Arts. In addition, her books garnered such accolades as the Commonwealth Award and the American Library Association Award.
Ms. Packer was subsequently honored in the 22nd and 23rd editions of Who's Who of American Women for her contributions to her industry. In the near future, Ms. Packer intends to continue enjoying her retirement.
