ALBUQUERQUE, NM, June 11, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Judi Foster with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Judi Foster celebrates many years' experience in her professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes she has accrued in her field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Inspired by her aunt, who was a third-grade teacher, Ms. Foster has been an Artist/Owner at The Piñon Tree Gallery, The Nob Hill Art Gallery, now known as The Gallery ABQ, as well as an Interior Designer at the private practice she established in 1980. Prior to founding her private practice, she had her work featured in numerous art shows, including the National Small Painting Show and the Bicentennial Calendar Show, and she also served as exhibition chair for these shows. At the same time, she was part of the decision-making board that moved The Art League to its current location. Earlier in her career, Ms. Foster worked in education with Southern Union Gas Company Schools, sales for Amana Radar ovens, Roper gas grills and Corning Glass smooth tops. For ten years, Ms. Foster was an Executive Assistant for a manager at Dyncorp (formerly Dynalectron).
An expert in her field, Ms. Foster graduated Cum Laude from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science degree and pursued graduate coursework in art at the University of New Mexico. Judi holds signature memberships in The New Mexico Art League, The New Mexico Watercolor Society, The Taos National Society of Watercolor and The Society Layerists in Multi-Media. In 2019, she received a certificate recognizing her for 25 years of honored membership with The New Mexico Watercolor Society. In order to network with other professionals in the arts, she affiliates herself with the Society of Layerists in Multi-Media, the National Watercolor Societies and Masterworks of New Mexico, where she has been a member of the steering committee (board) since 2002. Throughout her years in the field, she has had the opportunity to contribute to numerous creative works, including the cover of New Mexico Women in Business Magazine. In the near future, Ms. Foster intends to experience the continued success of her private practice.
In recognition of outstanding contributions to her profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Judi Foster has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
