Ms. Booth, a partner at Holland & Knight LLP, spent more than a decade as the head of the firm's West Coast Real Estate Group and also served on the firm's Director's Committee. She has extensive experience negotiating, drafting and successfully closing large commercial financing and purchase/sale transactions involving shopping centers, hotels, condominiums, office buildings, industrial parks, data centers, senior-living centers and mixed-use developments. She is widely regarded for her expertise in all types of debt transactions and for her ability to develop and implement strategies to resolve the issues arising from non-performing real estate assets. She has closed more than $1 billion in transactions over each of the past few years. An expert in her field, Ms. Booth holds a B.A. from Stanford University, a M.B.A. from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA (where she was on the Dean's List and a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society) and a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law (where she was the Managing Editor of the U.C.L.A. Law Review). Ms. Booth is involved with numerous community and real estate organizations including as a Trustee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and a prior Chair of its Real Property Section. She serves on the Board of Governors of the American College of Real Estate Attorneys and is a past Chair of the Capital Markets Committee for that organization as well as the American College of Mortgage Attorneys. She is on the City of Hope Los Angeles Real Estate and Construction Industries Counsel and also sponsors and participates in builds for Habitat for Humanity of Los Angeles.
Due to her outstanding work, Ms. Booth has received numerous honors, including Chambers USA – America's Leading Business Lawyers, California Real Estate Law from 2010 through 2019, The Best Lawyers in America, Real Estate Law from 2013 through 2019, and as one of the Top 50 Women Attorneys in Southern California through Super Lawyers Magazine in 2014, 2015, 2018 and 2019.
