An award-winning painter who has been making beautiful artwork her entire adult life, Ms. Eberle has been a freelance artist in her hometown of Monroe since 1975. Beginning her professional career with Hallmark Inc. in 1954, she has also lent her expertise by teaching various courses at the People's Art Center of St. Louis, the Masur Museum of Art and the University of Louisiana Monroe. Furthermore, Ms. Eberle has been very active with the Twin City Art Foundation in Monroe since 1974, as education chair and a trustee, and is a former member of the Mayor's Committee for Visual Arts in Monroe.
Painting in watercolor, Ms. Eberle's focuses mostly on florals, landscapes and various figures, as well as animals, buildings, chairs and other inanimate objects. Her paintings have been exhibited in numerous one-woman shows at the Snyder Museum, the Peck House, the Biederharn Foundation and the Water Works Wafer Gallery. Ms. Eberle has also been represented in two-person exhibits, group shows and jury exhibits, and has been included in permanent collections across Arkansas, Mississippi and Louisiana.
Upon receiving a Bachelor of Science in applied design with distinction from Purdue University in Indiana in 1954, Ms. Eberle went on to complete coursework at the Kansas City Art Institute from 1954 to 1956. She later acquired a Master of Arts in painting from the University of Louisiana Monroe in 1975 before completing further coursework at Louisiana Tech University between 1978 and 1986. In order to keep abreast of developments in her field, Ms. Eberle maintains professional affiliation with the American Watercolor Society (associate), the Louisiana Watercolor Society, the Mid-Southern Watercolorists, the Kentucky Watercolor Society, the Association for Women in Communications and the Monroe Art Association.
An elected member of Phi Kappa Phi, Ms. Eberle has been the recipient of several Mid Southern Watercolorists Awards since 1981. She also received several other recognitions throughout her career, including several Kentucky Aqueous Awards through the Kentucky Watercolor Society.
