In addition to her primary professional work, she has served as church organist and pianist at Hebron United Methodist Church since 1972, continuing to serve in this capacity to this day. Ms. Walker also spent six years as an organist and pianist at Cocoa Beach United Methodist Church.
Distinguished in her field for her contributions to education, Ms. Walker is notable for putting on school productions with her students and forming positive connections with her pupils.
