In a career filled with highlights, Mr. Davis was proud to have conducted a study on gene sequence numbering and submitting the work to the National Library of Medicine, while studying at Columbia University. The work was later presented on the nightly news by former President George H.W. Bush. Before embarking on his professional path, he pursued a formal education at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in microbiology in 1977. Subsequently, Mr. Davis completed postgraduate coursework at the Columbia University in New York City in 1979.
Recognized as a respected voice in the industry, Mr. Davis has written numerous briefs and articles in professional journals. A member of the American Rifle Association, he has also maintained his professional affiliation with the American Federation of Police, among other organizations.
