Mr. Hall is a retired international financial consultant who excelled as the president and the chief executive officer of Leatherstocking Consultants in Cooperstown, New York until 1995. His impressive career, which began with General Electric, included working as a sales engineer and supervisor of sales training. He later served as the director of development at his alma mater, Saint Lawrence University, for five years. Over the course of the next two decades, Mr. Hall served as Vice President for Development at Hiram College, Purdue University, Hartwick College and Colgate University before becoming senior vice president of Brakeley, John Price Jones and the president of Brakeley Recruiting in Stamford, Connecticut.
Mr. Hall's impressive consulting career has also included international appointments as a development consultant for the board of the International College in Beirut, Lebanon, a consultant to the board in Beirut and an international development consultant for the Bermuda Cathedral. Active with numerous civic organizations, he held the posts of a vice president and a member of the board of directors of the Purdue Research Foundation. He was active as a trustee of the Purdue Foundation, the Catskill Mountain Education Center, the Bassett Hospital Friends, the Hyde Hall Restoration and the Sayre House Restoration. Furthermore, Mr. Hall also served as New York state chairman of the American Cancer Society.
Mr. Hall initially pursued an education at Saint Lawrence University, earning a bachelor's degree in 1955. He continued his studies with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at Purdue University in 1959 before returning to Saint Lawrence, where he obtained a Master of Education in 1967. He concluded his academic studies at Clarkson University, graduating with a master's degree in 1970. Mr. Hall also notably completed his military service as a first lieutenant in the Military Police Corps in the U.S. Army, company commander of the 6016th Military Police Company and commander for the post prison at Yuma Test Station.
A lifetime member of Sigma Chi, Mr. Hall is a member of the Native Sons of Cooperstown. He is also a former executive council member of the Saint Lawrence Alumni Association. Likewise, Mr. Hall was active as a former member of the board of directors of the Adirondack Mountain Club.
In 1960, Mr. Hall was presented with a Best Speaker Award by General Electric Company for his "Effective Presentation of Business Ideas' speech. He was later honored with a Distinguished Alumni Citation from Saint Lawrence University in 1990. A celebrated Marquis listee, Mr. Hall has been cited in several editions of Who's Who in Finance and Industry, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the East and Who's Who in the World.
