With over 30 years of professional experience to his credit, Mr. Hashimoto is currently retired, having concluded his career as the owner of Hashimoto & Associates in Conroe, TX, from 1993 to 2001. Prior to attaining this role, he served as an engineering manager with Dreco, Inc., in Rosenberg, TX, from 1991 to 1993 and the vice president of engineering and research and development for the Branham Corporation in Conroe from 1978 to 1991. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hashimoto cultivated his expertise through work with Victoria Machine Works, Skytop Brewster and the Lee C. Moore Corporation.
Prior to embarking on his career, he left Japan for San Francisco in 1959. Mr. Hashimoto pursued an education at Multnomah Junior College in Portland, OR, where he completed coursework in 1963. Following this accomplishment, he continued his studies and earned a Bachelor of Science in engineering at the University of Portland in Oregon in 1968.
After his junior year, Mr. Hashimoto completed a summer internship as a draftsman and he was encouraged to return after he finished his degree for a full-time job. To remain abreast of developments in his field, Mr. Hashimoto maintained affiliation with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the American Welding Society.
Having achieved much throughout his career, Mr. Hashimoto is a five-time patentee in his field for his inventions. He has also traveled overseas on nearly 50 separate occasions to work on various engineering projects. In light of all his accomplishments, Mr. Hashimoto was previously selected for inclusion in the fourth edition of Who's Who in Science and Engineering.
Born in Japan prior to World War II to Taro Hashimoto and Yoshiko Urata, Mr. Hashimoto has been happily married to his wife, Yoshiko Hashimoto, for many years. The proud father of three well-educated children, he is also the grandfather to four wonderful grandchildren. In his spare time, Mr. Hashimoto enjoys hunting, fishing and traveling.
