From 2014 to 2016, Dr. Lee found success as a research professor at the Institute for Regional Studies at Seoul National University. Moreover, he was active as a lecturer with Gyeongbuk National University in 2014. Dr. Lee began his career as a schoolteacher with Daegu Yeongseon Elementary School from 2003 to 2012.
Dr. Lee initially pursued an education with Daegu National University of Education, where he completed coursework in primary education and social studies from 1999 to 2003. He continued his studies with the school while simultaneously serving with the Republic of Korea Army from 2004 to 2007, eventually obtaining a Master of Arts in education in 2010. Dr. Lee concluded his academic efforts in 2014, earning a Doctor of Philosophy in education from Seoul National University.
