Supported by more than 35 years of practiced experience in education, Ms. Rodenbaugh previously excelled as a teacher in the Central Bucks School District in Doylestown, PA from 1969 to 2001. Prior to this appointment, she found success as a teacher of the North Hills School District in Pittsburgh, PA, from 1964 to 1969. A past fellow of the Pennsylvania Writing Project at West Chester University, she has remained active in several civic efforts in her spare time, including as the president and a member of the board of directors for the Chestnut Grove Condo Association since 2005 and the secretary of the Doylestown branch of Friends of the Library since 2003. Likewise, Ms. Rodenbaugh has notably volunteered with Meals on Wheels and the Coalition to Shelter and Support the Homeless.
Ms. Rodenbaugh pursued an education at Westminster College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in education in 1964 and Master of Education in remedial reading in 1966. She authored six children's books between 1983 and 1999. To remain aware of developments in the industry, Ms. Rodenbaugh has also maintained her affiliation with the National Education Association, the Pennsylvania Education Association, the Central Bucks Education Association and PEO International.
The proud mother of three step children and grandmother of nine step grandchildren, Ms. Rodenbaugh is a native of Pittsburgh who currently resides in Doylestown. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, sailing, writing, singing in her church choir and playing the piano. For her impressive endeavors throughout her career, Ms. Rodenbaugh was selected for inclusion in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who in the World, Who's Who of American Women and Who's Who of Emerging Leaders in America.
