Ms. Sharp began garnering her expertise as a physical therapist with Saint Ann's Hospital in Westerville, OH, between 1988 and 1989. She further found success in the same role with Spine and Sports Physical Therapy in Ohio, and later, Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware, OH, from 1991 to 1994. She worked for the Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, as an academic coordinator of clinical education between 1994 and 2006 before accepting the position of a physical therapist with Ohio Health in Columbus from 2006 to 2012. Moreover, Ms. Sharp excels as a physical therapist with American Nursing Care in Columbus since 2013.
Civically, Ms. Sharp has been involved with a number of local organizations. A volunteer group facilitator for the Next Chapter Book Club, she further contributed on the Ohio University Physical Therapy Alumni Advisory Board. In a career filled with many highlights, Ms. Sharp is proud to be on the fundraising committee for the alumni board at Ohio University, which is responsible for putting local students through college in Ohio.
In 1988, Ms. Sharp graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy. Furthermore, she obtained a Master of Arts from the Ohio State University in 2001. To remain knowledgeable about trends in the industry, she maintains professional ties with the Ohio Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association, for which she contributed as a certified assembly representative for the Ohio Chapter, from 1994 to 1996. Outside of her primary responsibilities, Ms. Sharp enjoys reading, music, exercising, traveling, and spending time with friends and family in her spare time.
