Mr. Wallis initially pursued an education at the University of Texas, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in 1962. He continued his studies with the aforementioned school, earning a Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1965. He has been admitted to practice law by the State Bar of Texas, the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States Court of Military Appeals, the United States Tax Court, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth, Eighth, Tenth, and Eleventh Circuits, and the United States District Courts for the Southern, Western, and Northern Districts of Texas and the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas.
A respected voice in his areas of interest, Mr. Wallis has been affiliated with a number of professional organizations. He is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the American Judicature Society, and the Texas Trial Lawyers Association. He has also been active with the Houston Bar Foundation, Phi Delta Phi, and Phi Kappa Tau. A former faculty member for continuing legal education at the University of Houston, He also found success as an instructor for the University of Maryland.
Throughout his career, Mr. Wallis has been celebrated for his exemplary contributions to the field of law.
