Over the years, she found success through positions with Panache Interior Design, Pueblo Elementary Community School, Custom Welded Jewelry and Sculpture, Maplewood Elementary School, the Mountain Magnet School for Arts and the Northern Arizona Watercolor Association. Additionally, a plethora of Ms. Mayberry's work has been featured in exhibitions on behalf of the Arizona Watercolor Association, the National Watercolors Society, the San Diego International Exhibition, the West Valley Art Museum, Meijers Art Gallery, the Coast Fine Arts Society, and the Joslyn Fine Arts Center.
An expert in her field, Ms. Mayberry earned a Bachelor of Arts from DePauw University in 1962. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, she is affiliated with the Arizona Artists Guild, the Contemporary Watercolor Association and the National Watercolor Society. In a career filled with highlights, Ms. Mayberry is especially proud of watching her students go on to achieve greatness.
For her outstanding work, Ms. Mayberry was presented with a Merchant Award from the Arizona Watercolor Association and the San Diego International Exhibition and the National Oklahoma Watercolor Investment Award. Honored as Best in Show from the Glendale Arts Council, she was additionally selected for inclusion in Who's Who in the West. Looking toward the future, Ms. Mayberry intends to experience the continued success of her career in art and education.
