Before embarking upon his professional path, Dr. Marrone earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Long Island University in 1979. Subsequently, he obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Delaware in 1985. Dr. Marrone concluded his academic efforts in 2005, graduating with a Doctor of Education from Teachers College at Columbia University.
Dr. Marrone has been certified as a nursing professional development specialist, a nurse executive and a transcultural nurse. He maintains his professional affiliation with the Transcultural Nursing Society, the American Nurses Association, the American Organization of Nurses Executives and Leaders, the New York Organization of Nurse Executives and Leaders, the Association for Nursing Professional Development and the American Assembly for Men in Nursing.
