Having accrued over 25 years of experience in civil engineering, Mr. Weaver retired as vice president of Pizzagalli Construction in 1994. Prior to embarking on his professional journey, he pursued formal education at Pennsylvania State University, first earning an Associate of Science in 1965 and a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering in 1969. He concluded his postgraduate studies at Wilkes College one year later, and quickly utilized his degree by securing a superintendent and project engineering position with Raymond R. Hedden & Co. in Dallas, Pennsylvania. Mr. Weaver went on to occupy a similar role with Nalews, Inc., in New Hampshire and continued to serve in leadership roles for several companies throughout much of the 1970s before beginning his long-standing affiliation with Pizzagalli Construction in 1978.
In addition to his degrees in engineering, Mr. Weaver is a registered professional in several states throughout the eastern United States. Likewise, he is a licensed surveyor in Pennsylvania and a licensed blaster in Kentucky. Across the breadth of his career, he had the privilege and opportunity to work on many fascinating projects, including a contract from the National Security Agency. To remain abreast of developments in the field, Mr. Weaver maintains membership with several prominent organizations, including the National Society of Professional Engineers, the American Society of Civil Engineers and Chi Epsilon.
In his spare time, Mr. Weaver indulges in hobbies such as horseback riding, collecting antiques and golfing. He is the proud father of two children. From his children have come four grandchildren, who Mr. Weaver eagerly welcomed into his immediate family.
