Earlier in her career, Ms. Muftic contributed to the Metro District Attorney's Consumer Office in Denver as the executive director from 1973 to 1979 and 710 KNUS in Denver as a talk show host between 1981 and 1983.
Other professional endeavors to Ms. Muftic's credit include serving as the president of Mutfic and Associates in Denver from 1980 to 1983, and a commissioner for the Uniform Consumer Credit Code in Colorado, since 1991. Civically, she ran for mayor of Denver in 1979. A published author, Ms. Muftic's written works include "Colorado Consumer Handbook," which was published in 1982.
A graduate of Northwestern University, Ms. Muftic earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1960. To remain knowledgeable about trends in the field, she maintains her affiliation with the Institute of International Education, for which he has been active as a board member since 1981.
Furthermore, she is a member of Rotary International.
