In civic endeavors, Mr. Birdsong held a college internship at the Albert T. Mills Enrichment Center in Atlanta, and was additionally the chairperson for the religious affairs committee of his local branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People in Cobb County. Moreover, he served as a volunteer at God's Resting Place Community Outreach in Richmond, California. Whilst living in California, Mr. Birdsong provided his time and resources as an election worker for the Alameda County Registrar of Voters in Oakland.
Mr. Birdsong pursued a Bachelor of Arts in biblical education from Beulah Heights University in Atlanta, which he successfully obtained in 2010. He was additionally ordinated as a pastor by the Covenant Covering Christian Fellowship in 2015, and received a standard teacher's diploma by the Evangelical Training Association in Calumet City, Illinois, in 2010. Mr. Birdsong first received his minister's license from World Christianship Ministries in Fresno, California in 2002.
