Prior to this appointment, she excelled with The Research Spectrum as vice president from 1991 to 1994. Previous engagements include contributing as the vice president of Data Support Services Inc. in St. Louis, a senior analyst for May Department Stores Co. in St. Louis, and a manager of market research for the Angelica Corp. in St. Louis between 1980 and 1987. At the start of her career, Ms. Lee was associated with Southwestern Bell as a staff supervisor.
A graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Ms. Lee first earned a Bachelor of Science in applied sciences during 1974. Following this accomplishment, she received a Master of Business administration from Saint Louis University in 1978. Ms. Lee went on to conclude her studies by completing coursework at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles in 2012.
Other career related endeavors to her credit include serving as an adjunct faculty member for the University of Missouri, St. Louis from 1987-1988. Ms. Lee briefly spent time as an adjunct faculty member for Menlo College in Atherton, California during 1995 and at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California from 1999-2001. Civically, she has sat on the board of directors for the St. Louis Ballet and for the CVNSDAR. She has conducted dozens of filmed interviews with World War II veterans in support of the Veterans History Project (Library of Congress). A respected voice in the industry, Ms. Lee's article, "Nontraditional Way Risky but Rewarding" was published in 1995.
For her accomplishments in the field, Ms. Lee has been selected for inclusion in editions of Who's Who in the Midwest, Who's Who in the West and Who's Who of American Women. Likewise, she was honored with a fellowship from Saint Louis University between 1977 and 1978. Ms. Lee is also affiliated with the National Society Magna Charta Dames and Barons and is a past member for the American Marketing Association. Outside of work, Ms. Lee enjoys dressage, ballroom dancing and screenwriting in her spare time.
