Mr. Morgan enjoyed more than 45 years of distinction in the field of business management consulting. He attended the University of Kansas, graduating in 1958 with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Going on to serve in the United States Army, he was stationed in Alaska from 1958 to 1960 and was a member of the United States Army Reserves from 1960 to 1964. Following his service, he continued his education with postgraduate coursework at the American Institute of Banking in 1965, before completing his Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California in 1966.
From 1960 to 1961, Mr. Morgan was assistant manager at the Fruehauf Trailer Co. in Los Angeles, before joining Security Pacific National Bank as assistant marketing director from 1961 to 1965. He became a marketing executive at Doyle Dane Bernbach through 1966, when he transitioned to a consulting role with Harbridge House Inc. in Boston. Mr. Morgan would remain with Harbridge House Inc. until 1971, when he became president of Morgan Business Associates Inc. of Santa Barbara, California, a role he would continue for the duration of his career. In this capacity, Mr. Morgan had a passion and gift for working directly with large and small corporate clients as well as teaching and training hundreds of management workshops and classes around the globe.

He was a frequent contributor to industry publications and a member of the Society of Professional Consultants and the American Marketing Association. A lifelong learner and an adventurous spirit, Mr. Morgan spent decades with his treasured wife, Peggy Riley, after proposing with a diamond cut to his own well-researched specifications and then embarking on a three-month camping honeymoon following the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail.
