After obtaining an Associate of Science in chemistry from Orange County Community College in 1978, Mr. Bittner began his career as an internal consultant with International Paper in Tuxedo, NY from 1978 to 1987. During this time, he earned Bachelor of Art in business management at Lehman College in 1983. Subsequently, Mr. Bittner served as a system analyst for McGraw-Hill News in New York City, NY from 1987 to 1989 as well as a senior system analyst with Orange County Information Services in Goshen, NY and Columbia TriStar Home Video in New York City, NY between 1989 and 1993.
Mr. Bittner further excelled as a management information systems manager for Post Perfect in New York, NY from 1993 to 1994 and then moved on management at Warner Brothers in New York, NY from 1994 to 2004. He later worked as the director of technology for the National Parts Depot in New York, NY from 2004 to 2014 and as the director of technology with Resource Furniture in New York from 2016 to 2017. Throughout the years, he also held the posts of a theatrical consultant for the Shawnee Playhouse in 1985 and more recently for an HBO series in 2018. Civically, Mr. Bittner has contributed as a theatrical consultant, a production coordinator, and the sound designer for his local high school drama club since 2004.
An expert in the theatrical field, Mr. Bittner has also authored articles for local newspapers and international magazines from 1980 to 1988. Also skilled as a magician, he became interested in magic as a child when he attended a carnival and saw a random side show where magicians were performing. Later in life, after an encounter with Mr. & Mrs. Harry Blackstone Jr., Mr. Bittner became a member of the Society of American Magicians, the International Brotherhood of Magicians, and the Academy of Magical Arts. He is also certified as a professional pyrotechnican and has work with various companies since 2008. To remain aware of the changes in his professional field, he also maintained affiliation with the Microcomputer Managers Association, as well as various other information technology groups. Outside of his career, Mr. Bittner enjoys scuba diving, underwater photography, cooking, bowling and chess in his spare time.
