A respected voice in his areas of interest, Dr. Andres is a patentee and the co-inventor of "Heterocyclic Compounds Useful as Growth Hormone Secretagogues." Winning cases before the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences, he has listed patents in the Orange Book and this has been asserted against generic pharmaceutical manufacturers. For his exemplary efforts in the field, he has been celebrated throughout his career. A two-time recipient of the JD Supra Readers' Choice Award, Dr. Andres was also presented with the Presidential Award by the Bristol-Myers Squibb Company.
