Lynard C. Hinojosa was honored with the Arthur K. Marshall Award from the Los Angeles County Bar Association in 2015 and a Best Super California Lawyers Award in 2019.
LOS ANGELES, CA, September 11, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Lynard C. Hinojosa with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Hinojosa celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
A Southern California Super Lawyer between 2005 and 2019, Mr. Hinojosa excels as a partner with Hinojosa & Forer, for which he has been specializing in probate, trust, fiduciary, trust administration, and conservatorship litigation since 2016. His inaugural role in the field was that of an attorney for the Los Angeles County Counsel from 1967 to 1972.Since 1972 he has been in private practice. Although his career has been suffused with highlights, he is especially proud of winning a case where he was unable to produce any evidence. The previous attorney made a grave error and had an evidentiary sanction placed on them. However, Mr. Hinojosa leveraged his years of experience in litigation and cross-examination, thus allowing him to win a favorable outcome for his client.
Coming from a poor family, Mr. Hinojosa knew that education "was the only way upward," which cemented his decision to pursue a career in law. He was the first in his family to go to college and received a four-year full scholarship to Yale University from which he earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1964. Subsequently, Mr. Hinojosa earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of California Los Angeles Law School in 1967. He was promptly admitted to practice law by the California Bar Association, and he served as a member of the California Probate and Side-Bar Trust Executive Committee from 1996 until 2003.
Mr. Hinojosa remains aware of industry changes and networks with other professionals in the field via his affiliations with the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. Throughout his career, he has channeled his considerable knowledge into editing "Action Guideline to Probate," co-authoring "Notification by Trustee: Two Views of the Requirements of New Probate Code § 16061.7: The Sky is Not Falling" with Bruce Ross. Likewise, Mr. Hinojosa co-wrote "The Great Record Ripoff: Penal Sanctions and State Civil Remedies" for the University of West Los Angeles Law Review.
In accounting for his outstanding success in the field, Mr. Hinojosa credits his competitive spirit and a zeal to exchange ideas with others, striving always for self-improvement. Perhaps because of this attitude, he was honored with the Arthur K. Marshall Award from the Los Angeles County Bar Association in 2015, a Best Super California Lawyers Award in 2019, and the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. A celebrated Marquis listee, he has featured in editions of Who's Who in America and Who's Who in American Law. In 2006, Mr. Hinojosa married the woman he loves, Farahnaz, and together they have three children and three grandchildren.
In recognition of outstanding contributions to his profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Lynard Hinojosa has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
