Mr. Ziccardi has always been passionate about his art, recalling how, as a child during a time when his peers only wanted to play video games, he found himself drawn to cameras and photography. Upon graduating from high school, he immediately pursued his goals and attended College in Arizona, from which he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in visual communications. Parlaying his knowledge into a viable career path, he initially worked as a high school teacher, instructing students in graphic design and photography between 2002 and 2012. During this time, Mr. Ziccardi established the foundation for his eponymous studio, and eventually dedicated himself to the endeavor on a full-time basis in 2012.
Whilst enjoying the fruits of his success, Mr. Ziccardi has dedicated himself fervently to charitable endeavors, particularly in helping those less fortunate than himself. Every year, Anthony Ziccardi Studios donates over 100 Christmas presents to foster children in Sussex County who would not get to experience the holiday otherwise. Likewise, the studio "goes pink" every October for breast cancer awareness, and has contributed close to $20,000 to the Susan G. Komen of North Jersey Foundation. During this time, the studio dedicates $150 to the foundation for every wedding it is contracted to photograph. Moreover, if a client is suffering from a terminal illness and wants a professional shoot, Anthony Ziccardi Studios will oblige for nothing more than a donation to the charitable cause of their condition.
In accounting for his success, Mr. Ziccardi credits an abiding commitment to hard work and perseverance. He is happy to work hard and enjoys being challenged by his craft. His wife, Sarah, is also a considerable source of inspiration for him, always sharing in his desire to surmount new obstacles. Alongside his wife, Mr. Ziccardi is the proud parent of two children. Looking toward the future, he aspires to slow down as a professional photographer and conduct more exclusive work. Ideally, Mr. Ziccardi would also like to rekindle his original career as a teacher, and provide his expertise to a new generation of photographers.
