LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, OH, October 03, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Curtis J. Creath, DMD, MS, with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Dr. Creath celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Dr. Creath is a pediatric dentist who has dedicated more than 35 years of service to his patients and field. While he has enjoyed a lifelong love of science, he didn't consider a career in dentistry until a suggestion from his grandmother. He attended the University of California Los Angeles, from 1976 to 1981, before graduating with his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Oral Roberts University in 1985. He completed his education with a Master of Science from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1988, and his experiences while training led him to discover a talent for pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Creath began his career as an assistant professor at the School of Dental Medicine at the State University of New York at Stony Brook from 1988 to 1991, and at the School of Dentistry of the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 1991 to 1994. He found teaching to be one of the most rewarding parts of his career, and hopes to return to it later in his career. Between 1994 and 1995, he was a staff pediatric dentist at Family Central Care Associates in Cincinnati, leaving in 1995 to begin his own private practice serving the community of Milford, Ohio. Dr. Creath remains in private practice to this day.
Between 1982 and 1984, Dr. Creath led several dental mission trips to underserved areas of Mexico, Jamaica and Peru. He has also contributed articles to professional journals on topics in pediatric dental care, smokeless tobacco use and oral effects, and preventative dentistry. Furthermore, he has written chapters for "Special and Medically Compromised Patients in Dentistry," which was published in 1989, and the 1994 edition of "Clark's Clinical Dentistry." An elder at Grace Bible Presbyterian Church, Dr. Creath is active in his faith community and teaches adult Sunday school classes and a men's Bible study group, and leads music during worship services.
In recognition of outstanding contributions to his profession and the Marquis Who's Who community, Dr. Creath has been featured on the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement website. Please visit www.ltachievers.com for more information about this honor.
