He currently serves as the president of Yeargin Building Corp and the co-owner of A-Team Sports Inc. Previously, Mr. Yeargin excelled as a controller at Anchor Wire Corporation from 1970 to 1973, the assistant director of the Bureau of Fiscal Services between 1973 and 1976, director of the National Building Corp from 1977 until 1978, director of special projects financial management at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center from 1976 to 1978, and the owner of Yeargin & Associates, a CPA accounting firm in Nashville, TN, from 1978 to the present.
Prior to becoming an esteemed financial planner, Mr. Yeargin pursued formal education with a Bachelor of Science from Middle Tennessee State University in 1966. He earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee.
A civic-minded professional, Mr. Yeargin volunteered in his field and community. He was active as the chairman of the board of the National Hemophilia Foundation in 1977 and president of the Master of Business Administration Student Body at the University of Tennessee from 1976 to 1977. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Mr. Yeargin remains informed of the changes and advancements in his industry through relevant organizations. He is a member of the Accounting Society at Middle Tennessee State University and the honorable society of Alpha Kappa Psi. Likewise, Mr. Yeargin was the vice president of the Franklin Road Jaycees from 1975 to 1976.
In light of his many accomplishments in the field, Mr. Yeargin has received a number of awards and accolades throughout his career. He was named Jaycee of the Year from 1974 to 1975 and has been awarded various state, regional and national recognitions. Mr. Yeargin has been featured in several editions of Who's Who in the South and Southwest.
