With over 40 years of experience as a cartoonist, writer, and professor, Ms. Todd currently serves as the president of Earth Comix, Inc., a 501(c)3 corporation, and Bradley Todd, Inc. She began her professional career as a freelance writer and graphic designer in 1970. She was also active as the marketing and technical publications manager of Sytron Corporation in Westboro, Massachusetts. Moreover, Ms. Todd excelled as an assistant professor at Lesley University from 1993 to 2000 and as an adjunct professor at Union Institute and University.
Prior to embarking on her professional path, Ms. Todd pursued higher education. She received a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from San Francisco State University. In addition to publishing a number of magazine articles and cartoons and presenting her work at national and international conferences, Ms. Todd has authored, co-authored and/or illustrated "Porkbarrell Comix," "The Girl's Guide to Football, "The Ultimate Guide to Transforming Anger," "Frame by Frame," "Screwnomics," "The Whole Health Book," "Feeling Elf Cards," "Family Matters," "Talk it Out," and "Rainbow Kids," among others. Apart from her primary responsibilities, Ms. Todd remains informed of the trends and advances in her field through her affiliations with various related organizations. She is a member of the National Cartoonists Society, the Authors Guild, and the New England Science Writers. Outside of her present positions, Ms. Todd volunteers in her community, including on the membership committee of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Eastern Slope, as a facilitator of the Alternatives to Violence Project, as a driver for Meals on Wheels, and as a volunteer escort at Planned Parenthood.
Her career as a cartoonist was launched when she became a finalist at the Editorial Humor Cartoon Contest in 1994. Most recently, "Screwnomics," to which she contributed over 40 full-page cartoon illustrations, won a silver medal from the Independent Book Publishers Association. In light of her achievements in her field, Ms. Todd has been featured in several editions of Who's Who in the East and Who's Who in Communication.
