TUCSON, AZ, October 22, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- R. Anthony Burrows, DDS, has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona, in 1986, Dr. Burrows pursued a career in dental science. In 1992, he obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Colorado. From 1992 to 1993, Dr. Burrows completed his general practice residency at Denver General Hospital.
Following his residency, Dr. Burrows began his career as a team leader at Dental Net from 1993 to 1997. Subsequently, he established his own dental office, Desert Spring Family Dentistry in Tucson, where he remains as the lead dentist. Dr. Burrows adheres to the motto, "Treat others better than you would like to be treated."
Outside of his primary practice, Dr. Burrows found success as the dental director at Alternative Mission. He also works with women's health organizations. Likewise, Dr. Burrows dedicates his time and resources to MOM in Phoenix and Hopefest in Tucson.
Dr. Burrows was recognized as the Number 1 Dentist and an Outstanding Dentist in Tucson by local Tucson media. He was further celebrated as a Top Dentist by Tucson Lifestyle Magazine each year since 2012. Dr. Burrows is a member of the American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, the Southern Arizona Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry and Alpha Omega, the oldest international dental organization.
Dr. Burrows believes his success and the success of his business is a blessing from God, and he thanks his wife for her support and for being his inspiration. Before he became a dentist, he was active as a carpenter, but he believes dental science was the right path for him. Envisioning himself continuing dentistry for many more years, Dr. Burrows hopes to devote more time to enjoying his hobbies, including gardening, travel, golf and manning the barbeque.
