Paul Kramer has over 50 years' experience as an attorney. He was the Deputy United States Attorney for Maryland for 14 years and a federal prosecutor for 20 years. He served on the Judicial Selection Committees for the Baltimore City Bar for over 20 years to recommend attorneys to the Governor for Judgeships and taught at area colleges and universities. He taught trial advocacy to Judges and lawyers and was Chairman of the Criminal Law and Federal Practice Committees for the Baltimore Bar. He was President of the Maryland Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, served as National Fourth Circuit Vice President for over 30 years, Chairman (for two terms) of all 22 of the National Circuit Vice Presidents of the National Federal Bar Association, on the National Executive Committee, National Secretary and Deputy Secretary, and a Moderator and Speaker at over ten National Conventions of the Federal Bar Association.
Mr. Kramer served on the Executive Board, Baltimore City Bar and is a past President and Trustee of The Baltimore Bar Foundation. He was on the Board of Directors for both the Maryland State Bar Association and the Maryland Bar Foundation. He was President of Barrister's Law Club and is a permanent member of the Federal 4th Circuit Judicial Conference since 1970.
He is one of the most experienced criminal defense and trial attorneys in Maryland and has been recognized in Who's Who in Government, Who's Who in Law and Who's Who in America and honored for his "years of service to the legal professions and people of the community' by the Baltimore Bar and "recognized (by the National Federal Bar) for long and meritorious service to the profession of law" and received a special award for "32 years of leadership to the Federal Bar Association."
