Dr. Klein is renowned as a counselor and psychologist with more than 20 years of service to her patients and discipline. She initially pursued an education at San Fernando Valley State College, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in 1966 and a Master of Arts in 1970. She later completed postgraduate coursework at the University of Southern California from 1970 to 1973, and coursework for her MFCC license in 1973. In 2002, Dr. Klein graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy in counseling psychology from Pacific Western University.
From 1970 to 1973, Dr. Klein worked with the Benjamin Rush Crisis Center, the Los Angeles Psychiatric Clinic, and Bay Cities Mental Health Center of Los Angeles. She subsequently operated out of a private practice at Bay Cities Mental Health Center in 1973, and established her own individual practice in Beverly Hills, CA, the same year. Dr. Klein would continue to find success through her practice until her retirement in 1990, and is proud of the work she was able to conduct in support of her clients.
Moreover, Dr. Klein is the author of numerous cookbooks, including "The Joy of Eating," "With Love from Darling's Kitchen," and "These Are a Few of Your Favorite Things." She is currently working on another book. A passionate philanthropist, she has been involved in fundraising and events organization for several decades. Dr. Klein's most notables charitable work includes dedicating time as a touring docent for the L.A. County Art Museum, and flourishing in administrative roles for Hassadah of Southern California.
