Earlier in his career, Mr. Simpson gained valuable experience in the field as a partner with Woodruff, Fostel, Wren & Simpson, where he worked for 20 years. Prior to beginning his career in the field in the late 1970s, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Texas in 1974. He subsequently graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Baylor University School of Law in 1977. Following these appointments, Mr. Simpson was admitted to practice law through the State Bar of Texas, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Certified in personal injury trial law through the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Mr. Simpson is also a civil trial specialist through the National Board of Trial Advocacy. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, he has been affiliated with the grievance committee for the State Bar of Texas, the board of directors and insurance reform committee for the Texas Trial Lawyers, the Wise County Bar Foundation and the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Dedicated to his community, Mr. Simpson serves as a founder of Feeding Wise Kids, which provides students in need with meals throughout the weekend due to the fact that many only get fed during school hours. With this organization, he ensures that more than 500 children in his county do not miss a meal. Utilizing his considerable expertise, Mr. is a speaker at seminars, association meetings, Baylor Law School, and various other venues by invitation.
