Founded in 1983, the organization's products have been used in a variety of electronic devices, spanning a broad spectrum of the electronics industry with applications ranging from consumer electronics to aerospace and defense electronics. During his tenure, Mr. Leve also served in the same capacity for Ohmega Electronics, Inc., between 1986 and 2004.
A celebrated figure in the field, Mr. Leve held several other prestigious positions over the years as well. A former chief executive officer, managing director and chairman of the board for The Mica Corporation, he also held similar roles with Micaply AG in Switzerland, Micaply International Ltd. in the United Kingdom, Titan Chemical Corporation, and Edgecraft Corporation. Prior to transitioning into the electronics field, Mr. Leve spent over a decade as an accountant, manager and partner at the CPA firm Joseph S. Herbert & Company in Los Angeles between 1951 and 1963.
Active with his alma mater, the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), Mr. Leve is an advisory board member of the UCLA Alan D. Leve Center for Jewish Studies which he endowed in 2014. A world-class research center and intellectual hub for the study of Jewish culture, religion, thought and literature, the center is located in the humanities division in Royce Hall and is dedicated to the creation, dissemination and application of knowledge for the betterment of the global society.
Mr. Leve received a Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA in 1951 and became a certified public accountant two years later. Prior to entering college, he served in the US Army Air Corps from 1946 to 1947. A celebrated Marquis listee, Mr. Leve has been featured in every edition of Who's Who in America between 1987 and 2016, every edition of Who's Who in the West between 2001 and 2016 and the 11th edition of Who's Who in Science and Engineering in 2010.
