Prior to this appointment, he briefly served as a correctional officer at Crowley County Correctional Facility in 1999, having previously worked as a security officer for Mitsui Advanced Multi Media, Inc. in Colorado Springs from 1998 to 1999. In his inaugural role, Mr. Sealing found success as a security officer for Pinkerton Security and Investigations Services Inc. in Colorado Springs from 1995 to 1998.
Prior to the start of his career, Mr. Sealing pursued a formal education in Applied Technical Systems from 1992 to 1993, later attending the Tidewater Technical Community College in Portsmouth, Virginia, between 1994 and 1995. He continued his academic efforts by studying at Pikes Peak Community College in Colorado Springs, before securing a Bachelors with honors from Remington College in 2005. Furthermore, Mr. Sealing received certifications in cryptozoology and is a police academy graduate.
In civic endeavors, Mr. Sealing served with the U.S. Navy from 1987 until his honorable discharge in 1995. A published author, he written works include "The Dark," "NCX: A Trilogy," "Spread Too Thin?" and "The Kindred," among several others. Achievements to his credit include being a songwriter for five songs, to which he owns a patent for as well as acting in the miniseries "Anastasia." A member of the National Rifle Association, Mr. Sealing maintains his professional affiliation with the United States Concealed Carry Association. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, target shooting, camping, backpacking, and model trains in his spare time.
