Ms. Jackson is an artist and poet with more than 50 years of innovation in her disciplines. Ms. Jackson purchased a building in Savannah, and considers the city and surrounding areas to be her home and an inspiration to her work. She was a professor of painting at Savannah College of Art and Design from 1996 until 2009, and an adjunct professor between 2013 and 2016. Ms. Jackson has served as a visiting artist at various institutions, and featured in group and solo shows across the country spanning decades of work.
