An acclaimed expert in Project Management with more than 20 years of experience in multiple fields, Ms. Gogumalla currently serves as the Director of the Project Management Office at Roadrunner Transportation Systems. In this post, she coaches the current team and adds new talent to expand the Project Management Office, leads the implementation of key enterprise initiatives by forming collaborative partnerships and manages enterprise governance and communications processes. Previously, Ms. Gogumalla honed her expertise in team management and cost reduction through a number of roles, including Business Transformation Consulting Leader for DST Systems from 2017 to 2018, a manager and a Senior Manager of the Project Controls Office and program manager of Enterprise Resource Planning for Kansas City Power & Light (KCP&L) currently Evergy between 2012 and 2016.
Prior to joining KCP&L, Ms. Gogumalla flourished as a Manager of Business Analysis for GEHA between 2010 and 2012. During the 2000s, she worked as a conversion manager for market conversion, an account and portfolio manager, and PeopleSoft program and account manager in finance for Century Link in addition to her position as project manager with Sprint Nextel Corporation. Ms. Gogumalla began her career in the field as a software engineer and a testing lead for Sprint Nextel between 1998 and 2003.
An expert in her field, Ms. Gogumalla initially earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science at Nizam College (Osmania University) in India in 1995. Three years later, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Central Missouri. In 2015, she furthered her knowledge of the field through the completion of an Executive Utilities Course at the University of Idaho. Ms. Gogumalla retained her professional alignment with Women Inspired to Learn and Lead, Go Red for Women and Cristo Rey Kansas City.
Devoted to her community, Ms. Gogumalla also volunteers through her church (Abundant Life, Lee's Summit MO) and various local initiatives.
