Lisa Engle's dedication to the patients, the community and her doctors has impacted the trajectory of their well-being in countless ways as well as furthering the impact of her profession.
ATLANTA, GA, November 18, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lisa Engle has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected based on current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all considered during the selection process.
Ms. Engle began her career in the field as a chiropractic assistant and office manager. After falling in love with the philosophy, art and science of chiropractic healthcare, she also became a speaker and a chiropractic assistant certification program instructor for the GA Council of Chiropractic where she served for 17 years..
During her career, she also volunteered countless hours as chairperson, committee member and occasionally serving in an officer position for varying roles in her local PTA organizations. She served as PTA wellness chair for DeKalb County Council of PTA's and founded a Wellness Council at Ashford Park Elementary. As her children moved into higher grades, she spearheaded a, now annual, Healthy Lifestyle Fair that exposes the middle school students to knowledge so that they can begin to make more informed choices regarding their bodies and lifestyles.
In addition to volunteering in her (5) children's schools (1991-present) and coaching youth sports (1991-1998), Ms. Engle dedicated time each week to support young mothers in her church community. By founding a mother's group in 2004, hundreds of women have been encouraged and supported by her compassion and experience through weekly gathering, emails, meal deliveries for new moms and during crisis, and extra relationship building activities. While she stepped down from a leadership role in the group in 2016, the group continues to thrive and grow. Ms. Engle still enjoys contributing and supporting the young mothers in her church when time permits.
Ms. Engle has served as a chiropractic assistant at the Atlanta Natural Health Clinic for 28 years before she became the co-owner and managing partner in 2017. Her dedication to the patients, the community and her doctors has impacted the trajectory of their well-being in countless ways as well as furthering the impact of her profession.
Today, Ms. Engle excels as the owner and the author of Creating Chiropractic Experiences. As a writer, a teacher and a lifelong student, she has cultivated a breadth of information that now serves as a template for chiropractic offices in her book, Your Guide to Creating the Ultimate Chiropractic Experience. Through this book, doctors and their teams are inspired to create the perfect atmosphere and experience for themselves and the people they serve. Her intention is that doctors, their staff, and patients are all expressing their innate wisdom and potential, uniquely experiencing all the value and benefit that chiropractic can offer.
Additionally, Ms. Engle started her own coaching company in 2013, OptiMOM Coaching. Her company is on mission to create a "well world," recognizing that for future generation to be well, we must have well parents. After decades of supporting patients as they made choices for chiropractic care aligned to their value systems, she attended Wellcoaches School of Coaching and earned her certification a health and wellness coach through the American College of Sports Medicine in 2013. With a niche of coaching mothers, her volunteer time and work history make her a powerfully effective coach for the lasting changes that mothers are seeking.
In order to remain aware of changes in her field, she maintains her affiliation with the League of Chiropractic Women, Live Healthy DeKalb Coalition, Wellcoaches School of Coaching, Life Vision and the Georgia Council of Chiropractic. With decades of knowledge at her disposal, Ms. Engle has penned a number of creative works, including, bt not limited to, "Asking Your Inner 9 Year Old," "You're Making History," "It's Time to Freshen Things Up," "Serving in Our Small Parts of the Planet," "Increased Demand for Mindful Managers," "An Authentic Mom Speaks," "Take Then Where They Have Not Been" and "Goodwill Lesson From a 12 Year Old." Ms. Engle can also be heard as featured guest on many podcasts and online interviews that serve chiropractors and mothers.
For her outstanding work, Ms. Engle was honored as the Chiropractic Assistant of the Year by the Georgia Council of Chiropractic and has received several acknowledgements for her contribution to the field. She has been featured in neighborhood newspapers, Voyage Atlanta Magazine (twice), Buckhaven Magazine. She has earned the Best of Atlanta 2019 award for OptiMOM Coaching and her Atlanta Natural Health Clinic earned Best Self Atlanta 2019 for Chiropractic Care. Looking toward the future, she aims to continue fostering a healthy lifestyle for herself, her family and the community around her while expanding her sphere of influence both in chiropractic, for parents, and for local schools.
