Mrs. Burget has been in business since the year of 2015. She is passionate about helping the hearing impaired with their hearing impairments. She began her career as a Certified Nurse's Aide at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center in Honesdale, PA from 1998 to 2004. From there she was hired at Wayne Memorial Hearing Solutions as an Audiology Technician. In the year of 2008, she became a Hearing Instrument Specialist. She continued her journey as a Hearing Instrument Specialist at Microtone Hearing Instruments in the year of 2012 to 2014, after which time she established her own company.
Mrs. Burget now stands out for her compassion and expertise and setting standards in the hearing healthcare industry. She has done Beta testing on audiology equipment, and different hearing aid manufacturers, she does comparison testing for research and development. During the vetting process it was noted along with her exceptional reputation that she has maintained a positive peer rating. Her years of service along with level of expertise and several other factors contributed to her inclusion. She prides herself on honesty and integrity. Her kindness and willingness to always help others and find solutions to most questions is both exemplary and honorable. Mrs. Burget now has 3 locations she is serving; South Williamsport, Port Trevorton, and she just recently opened her most recent location in Mifflinburg, PA in August of 2019. She also provides home healthcare services by appointment only within a 25-mile radius of her offices. She speaks at local nonprofit locations such as the Kawasan's Club. She features her business at many local health fairs and personal care homes providing knowledge to both the staff and residents. She makes her mark to be sure that she can touch the lives of many by sharing her knowledge in every place she can in her community.
Mrs. Burget attributes her time working in a nursing home to help her to understand the need for hearing healthcare. Two out of three residents had hearing loss, and 80 percent of them were untreated. She has developed hearing programs to help terminally ill patients hear at no cost. She also provides a service where one can donate a hearing aid and that hearing aid can be fitted at no cost to help someone who cannot otherwise afford a hearing device to help them with their hearing impairment. Mrs. Burget's heart goes well beyond running a business.
Mrs. Burget is a member of the BBB (Better Business Bureau), being recognized as an accredited business since the year of 2018, and the local Chamber of Commerce. She belongs to the local Builders Association with a mission to protect your hearing now. She was presented with an award from the Nations Hearing Help America Hear Program for the blindness and visual association in the year of 2017. She donates funding to many local foundations and school programs, such as school bands, fishing clubs, etc. Mrs. Burget sponsors a race car for the local Selinsgrove Speed Track, providing financial donations, and racing plugs applying her professional skills to develop preventive measures to avoid hearing loss at the racetrack. When asked of her career goals. She says "The most important part of addressing your hearing loss is that you find a professional with whom you are comfortable and who cares about you, and your hearing. This is a big decision and it will improve your quality of life for the rest of your life." In light of her longevity and success in the health care field, she was honored with the Distinguished Women's Award in November of 2018. She was awarded with the 4th Annual Reader's Choice Award as The Best of Susquehanna River Valley by the Standard Journal. Artisan Hearing has also won the Number One Hearing Center in the area for the past 4 years by the Sun Gazette Reader's Choice Award. Looking toward the future, Mrs. Burget intends to continue helping others in her area to the best of her ability.
