An expert in pharmaceutical manufacturing, Dr. Robert George Dusel celebrates 50 years of service in the field.

An expert in pharmaceutical manufacturing, Dr. Dusel celebrates 50 years of service in the field. Retiring in 2014, he found success for nearly 30 of those years as a pharmaceutical consultant for Lachman Consultant Services in Westbury, New York. Dr. Dusel previously worked for Chelsea Laboratories as a research leader.
Furthermore, Dr. Dusel contributed to Dupont Pharmaceuticals as a developmental pharmacist. He further excelled as a research and development chemist for Endo Laboratories. Dr. Dusel provided his wealth of knowledge to two chapters in the 1970s book, "Theory and Practice of Pharmacy."
A native of New York City, Dr. Dusel enrolled at Stuyvesant High School, where he received a scientific degree. He continued his studies at Long Island University where he received his B.S. and then earned a Master of Science in chemistry at C.W. Post College in 1974. Dr. Dusel concluded his academic efforts at St. John's University with a Doctor of Philosophy in industrial pharmacy.
To stay abreast in his field, Dr. Dusel has been a practicing member of the American Pharmaceutical Association. A celebrated Marquis listee, he has been featured in the first edition of Who's Who in Science and Engineering and the 24th edition of Who's Who in the East. Beyond his primary responsibilities, Dr. Dusel enjoys restoring 100 year-old trolleys as well as spending time with his wife, Marie Marra, children, Robert, Andrew and Kathy Ann and grandchildren, Grace, Madelyn, Jack and Delaney.
