Upon his graduation, he pursued an education at the George Washington University, earning a Bachelor of Arts, with special honors, in political science in 1985. Subsequently, he began his career with Newswatch in Alexandria, Virginia, as an editor for the National Conservative Foundation from 1985 to 1987. Moreover, Mr. Baker found success at the Media Research Center in Alexandria, where he held the post of editor for the CyberAlert Email Report from 1996 to 2015.
The Steven P.J. Wood senior fellow and vice president of research and publications with the Media Research Center, Mr. Baker is currently active as the editor-at-large for Newsbusters.org with the Media Research Center. In a career filled with several highlights, he has gratefully and continuously taken a lead role in the annual Gala and DisHonors Awards. Mr. Baker is also proud to have authored the book "How to Identify, Expose and Correct Liberal Media Bias" in 1994. Since 2012, Mr. Baker has worked with the Washington Examiner to select a weekly "Liberal Media Scream" post with video and commentary.
