For this and other such feats, Judge Grannis was the recipient of a national recognition for his distinguished efforts in gang prevention.
To remain aware of developments in the field of child welfare law, Judge Grannis researches new law and developments in child welfare, consults colleagues, and maintains his membership in the Council of Juvenile Court Judges and other organizations such as the Cobb County Bar Association, the Georgia Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Adjacent to his career, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children and reading and playing golf in his spare time.
