Having accrued more than 20 years of expertise in the field of podiatric medicine, Dr. Boghossian has garnered a laudable reputation in the medical community through his continual contributions to numerous developments in podiatric health. Notably, he is the founder of several wound care centers in southern California, including the Lancaster Community Hospital Wound Center, the Antelope Valley Hospital's Comprehensive Center for Wounds and High Desert Medical Group. Since 2002, he is the co-founder of MB Comprehensive Foot and Ankle Centers, where he performs complex reconstructive foot and ankle procedures on both adults and children of all ages. Additionally, Dr. Boghossian was the director of residencies at Sherman Oaks Hospital from 2003 to 2007.
On top of his cutting edge work in the office, Dr. Boghossian is an active volunteer with the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department Search and Rescue Team. The Search and Rescue Team is responsible for numerous life-saving rescue missions in the southern California deserts, mountains and forests. He is very proud to serve with the selfless men and woman who risk their lives to save strangers strictly on a volunteer basis. Dr. Boghossian has joined six medical missions in treating soldiers and their families with foot and ankle injuries.
Dr. Boghossian became involved in his profession because of his exposure to medical training while serving in the military. An Army Veteran, he joined the U.S. Army in 1988 at 17 years old, and distinguished himself as a combat medic and operating room technician and specialist. It was during this time that he realized he wished to heal injuries and trauma as a career even past his service with the military, which he departed from in 1996.
Dr. Boghossian graduated from Des Moines University, College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in 1999 with a degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. A diplomat of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, he also serves as a speaker on panels, delivering lectures and surgical instruction throughout the United States and other countries. Dr. Boghossian attributes his success to hard work, dedication and some luck.
