Subsequently, Mr. Winfield worked as the vice president of projects and head of strategic platform delivery for Global Payments from 2001 to 2011, the vice president of financial services at inComm from 2011 to 2013 and the vice president of merchant client solutions at Vantiv from 2013 to 2015.
Furthermore, Mr. Winfield was active as a principal consultant at Collective 937 Consulting from 2015 to 2017, the executive director of client services at Lusis Payments in 2016 and the chief information officer of Sage Payment Solutions in 2017. Leading successful, large-scale IT transformation initiatives for global implementations, he notably flourished as the chief information officer for Paya, which has provided simple, secure technology options enabling businesses to accept payments, get paid faster and increase efficiency since 2018. Mr. Winfield additionally found success at NASA for four years as an assistant program manager and a mission manager.
Notably, Mr. Winfield is a member of the Technology Association of Georgia and Atlanta Telecom Professionals. Recently, he was selected as a finalist for Chief Information Officer of the Year in Georgia in 2018 and 2019.
