From 1986 to 1988, Mr. Hamilton began his career as a project manager for Procter & Gamble in Mehoopany, PA. He worked for Apsco, Incorporated as international project manager from 1988 to 1991 based in the UK and the vice president from 1989 to 1991. A car accident and resulting head injury inspired Mr. Hamilton to pivot toward working in advocacy for neurological injuries and disorders, and subsequently served as the manager of publications for the National Head Injury Foundation in Washington, D.C., from 1991 to 1993.
From 1994 to 1996, Mr. Hamilton found success with the BNI Laboratory of Neuro-Oncology. Excelling in the Arizona Science Center from 1996 to 2001 and the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry from 2001 to 2016, he has excelled with Saturday Academy since 2016, Oregon Public Broadcasting since 2017, and the Evergreen Air and Space Museum since 2018.
