Having held an aspiration to build rollercoasters since playing the video game "Rollercoaster Tycoon" in his youth, Mr. Stehr's efforts within the amusement park industry eventually led to him working with such companies as Disney, Universal Studios, and Sea World. Presently, he excels as an estimating and business development manager for Entech Innovative Engineering. Additionally, Mr. Stehr previously served in a similar position and as mechanical design engineer and technical design and engineering manager for Entech Innovative Engineering.
Prior to obtaining his current positions, Mr. Stehr gained considerable expertise in the field as an associate engineer and project engineer for Back Stage Technologies from 2014 until 2015, and as a mechanical design engineer for Cinnabar Florida, Inc. between 2012 and 2014. Though his career has been suffused with highlights, he is especially proud to have served on the engineering design team at Entech which worked with Barton Malow within the Daytona Rising project at the Daytona International Speedway. Additionally, Mr. Stehr was the head engineer on three separate ABC Eagle Award winning projects, and has helped to engineer such projects as Diagon Alley for Universal Studios, water features for Voyage to the Crystal Grotto in Shanghai Disney, the restoration of the Empress Lily for its conversion into the Paddlefish Restaurant in Disney Springs and the helical rampway for the entrance to the multi-million dollar exhibit called Heroes and Legends Featuring The Astronaut Hall of Fame at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
In 2012, Mr. Stehr earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering technology from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in pursuit of his dreams. He retains his professional alignment with the Associated Builders and Contractors, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Themed Entertainment Association. For his stellar achievements, he was honored being associated with the Project of the Year Award through Associated Builders and Contractors.
