A respected voice in the arts community, Ms. Aldrich Heller has found much success as the President, the owner and the founder of Irish Theater & Film Production, a nonprofit company devoted to presenting the work of Irish playwrights in New York City, Los Angeles, London and Dublin. Prior to these appointments, she excelled as the Cultural Director of New York City under City Council President Andrew Stein and Mayor Koch from 1986 to 1994. Aldrich Heller produced the film "Red Roses and Petrol" starring Malcom McDowell in 2003.
Furthermore, Ms. Aldrich Heller graduated from Finch College, completed courses at Columbia University, and received a degree in Neuro-Linquistic Programming from the New York Training Institute. She subsequently was partner at Dorchester Public Relations Firm. She also had her own PR office at The Burbank Film Studios and Cal Arts University. Moreover, Ms. Aldrich Heller was active as a fashion stylist then developing her own sportswear firm, Kathleen Crawford. For the first year the clothes were featured in all the side windows at Bergdorf-Goodman.
In 2016, Ms. Aldrich Heller was recognized as Women of the Year by the Alumni of Finch College. She accepted a proclamation from the Irish Consul General of New York for her outstanding contributions to Irish Theater in the United States. One of her plays, featured Pat Kinevane who went on to receive the Olivier Award for his performance in her production in 2018. Additionally, Georganne Aldrich Heller has exhibited her personal artworks at such lauded venues as the Southern Nevada Museum of Fine Art in Las Vegas, the Don O'Melveny Gallery in Los Angeles, the City of West Hollywood Culture Center and The Pennington Gallery in Soho, NY, among many others.
Notably, Ms. Aldrich Heller is a member of the Women's Forum, Collage Artists of Los Angeles and was one of the original co-founders of Women in Film. She also serves on the board of directors of the Irish Arts Center in New York, for which she has flourished as an independent producer for more than 20 years. Ms. Aldrich Heller attributes her success to her unparalleled dedication and drive, as well as her father's own success as world famous couturier and the founder of The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Ridgefield, CT, where she currently holds the post of a trustee.
