Prior to and during the recession, he served as an engineer for Thomson Grass Valley from 1999 until 2006. Following this appointment, he became an associate attorney with Marger Johnson and McCollom for six years before establishing David Crowther Law, P.C. Since 2012, Mr. Crowther has excelled as a co-founding partner of Renaissance IP Law Group, for which he specializes in intellectual property law and has prepared and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications.
Supported by his expertise in volatile and non-volatile memory technologies, multiprocessing computer systems, digital storage and networking technologies and much more, Mr. Crowther has represented public and private companies regarding the protection of intellectual property. An expert in his field, he earned a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering from Brigham Young University in 1999. Subsequently, he received a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Northwestern School of Law Lewis and Clark College in 2007. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, he retains his professional alignment with the American Bar Association, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the American Intellectual Property Law Association. A dedicated civic servant, Mr. Crowther also contributes to his local community as a youth soccer coach.
