During the early portion of his career, Richard specialized in Family Law handling complex divorce cases involving business valuations, retirement division issues as well as complex spousal and child support issues.
Since the early 2000s, Richard has specialized in estate administration and estate planning law. He was inspired to pursue a career in law because of his tenure as a juvenile probation officer. In this capacity, he had the opportunity to observe local attorneys in the courtroom.
Richard is especially proud of long standing involvement with community service organizations and especially his work through Kiwanis International and the Kiwanis Club of Manassas with community youth. For his exemplary charitable work, he was recognized as an Outstanding Volunteer by the Inter-service Club Council of Greater Manassas in 2017.
