Mr. Paul V. Orsini, Jr. is an honorary life member of the New York State Congress of Parents and Teachers.

Leading an impressive career as a music educator for more than 36 years, Mr. Orsini first worked for the Suburban Council Schools in Albany, New York, between 1983 and 1986 as a substitute teacher. He subsequently landed a position in the Corinth School District in New York in 1986 before ultimately being hired by the Shenendehowa Central School District in Clifton Park, New York, the following year. Teaching students the art of music ever since, he plays numerous musical instruments, which include brass, woodwind and percussion.
For a short time, Mr. Orsini was the owner and leader of the High Society Big Band in Clifton Park between 1988 and 1991. Prior to teaching, he was a musician for Mirage, an entertainer on the Carmen Canavo Show in Tampa, Florida, and a freelance entertainer in Albany. As a musician, Mr. Orsini premiered compositions with Dr. Brian Israel at Syracuse University and with Dr. Earl George between 1977 and 1979. He later served as the lead trumpet player with the Greg Nazarian Bing Band, The Starliters Big Band, the George Wonders' Big Band and the Dominant Five Brass Quintet. He has been the principal trumpet player for the South Colonie Memorial Wind Ensemble in Colonie, New York, since 2000.
Involved with several community and civic initiatives, Mr. Orsini first served as an advisor for the Shenendehowa Crisis Intervention Team in Clifton Park and as a member of the Shenendehowa Partnership Team. He was also a faculty representative and member of the executive board of the Friends of Music in Shenendehowa, Clifton Park. A native of New York, Mr. Orsini was first inspired by music at the young age of eight when his neighbor let him play his trumpet. Attending college, he received a Bachelor of Music in music education at The Crane School of Music at the State University of New York at Potsdam in 1977, followed by a Master of Music in music performance at Syracuse University in 1979. He is a certified K-12 music teacher in the state of New York.
Mr. Orsini is aligned with several industry related organizations. He is a member of the Albany Musicians Association, the International Trumpet Guild, and Phi Mu Alpha. He is also an honorary life member of the New York State Congress of Parents and Teachers. A celebrated Marquis listee, Mr. Orsini has been included in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education and Who's Who in the World.
