Mr. Webb is renowned as a minister, theological educator, author and pastoral addiction counselor with more than 30 years of excellence in his respective fields. He responded to the call of ministry while a senior in high school and was ordained in his second year of college. Webb has notably earned a Bachelor of Arts from Morehouse College, a Master of Arts from Clark Atlanta University, a Master of Science from Georgia State University and a Master of Divinity from the Morehouse School of Religion at ITC in Atlanta.
From 1968 to 1972, Mr. Webb achieved success as a probation investigative supervisor, community outreach supervisor that led to the position of Project Director Correction Specialist at the Fulton County Juvenile Court in Atlanta. Webb became the first correction specialist in Georgia and established the first Court Community outreach services. Mr. Webb continued his Involvement in corrections as a probation parole supervisor with the State of Georgia from 1976 to 1977. He transferred to the Georgia Department of Human Resources in 1977 as an effective and successful psychiatric social worker, a mental health forensic services coordinator, stabilization supervisor, case manage¬ment supervisor. He established mental health services in Georgia correctional institutions. Webb received the Georgia Governor's Award in 1987. After leaving the State Mental Health Department In 1991 Webb worked successfully with the Job Corps as an EAP and Addiction Specialist from 1991 to 2006 where hundreds of youth became drug-free, educated and enriched through his guidance.
In addition to his work in public and mental health, Webb has served as the pastor of Wheat Street Baptist Church and Foundation Baptist Church for twenty-three years. Webb's ministry is geared to ameliorate the national and global lethal culture crises. He is leading the vanguard to expand private religion to public theology and to the public square through the Christian Association of Public Theologians and the Christian Institute of Public Theology, as CEO and Founder. Webb's latest of six books that he has authored, HATRED ADDICTION RECOVERY (2018) is a compilation of his clinical, educational and theological experiences to reduce society's escalating crises. It is a most relevant and urgent book for society's wellbeing and security. Webb is a certified clinical supervisor with Georgia Addiction Counselors' Association, National Addiction Counselors Association and the National Association of Forensic Counselors.
